That's Really Cool
Incentives for saving water? A "Star Wars"-themed bath? It doesn't get any cooler.
Switch to a Groovy, Sustainable Landscaping this Spring
Spruce up your garden with a gorgeous, sustainable landscape this spring.
SCV Water's Lawn Replacement Program (LRP) makes saving water simple when you convert your lawn to a water-wise landscape that thrives in Santa Clarita. The LRP gives homeowners, businesses, HOAs and large landscape customers more opportunities to save water and money while creating a beautiful landscape.
Customers interested in the LRP will receive $3 per square foot of (living) grass removed and replaced with water-efficient landscaping. You can also mix, match and stack additional incentives and rebates. Front, side and backyard projects and parkways as small as 100 square feet are eligible. Before starting a project, you must apply and be approved for the LRP by SCV Water staff. For rebate information, visit conserve.yourscvwater.com.

Why You should Avoid the "Trend" Temptation
"Stray from the trends. They can be tempting, but here's the best advice we give: Focus on what you love, not what everyone else loves. The exception? If a trend in home design really resonates with you and it can be easily updated to ensure a timeless look. Generally, though - trends come and go. Curate your clutter and keep your space simple, decorated with items you love. This way, your space will stand the test of time."

Say Yes to the Best
When it comes to choosing the best, "yes" is an entire vibe.
Yes, Tailored Custom Spaces can be Relaxed & Livable
Can your home be refined... but lived in? Have a clean, natural color palette with layers of textures, materials and woods - but with spaces that are each defined by something unique? Boast cohesion throughout the home - but with elements that set your rooms apart? Yes, yes, and yes. It's called Refined California Casual - and it's the RRI style.

Yes, Quality Paint can Save You Money in the Long Run
Not all paints are created equal... and you should know what you're getting when you invest your hard-earned cash.
The ingredients in paints can significantly impact quality and price - and that's why you're likely better off skipping the temptation to purchase the cheap stuff. If quality finish, color and durability matter, a premium paint is the long-term value over budget competitors.
Lower-cost paints frequently contain fillers like clay and calcium carbonate, neither of which adhere exceptionally well to surfaces. Cheap paints also contain a lot of water, which means a faster evaporation rate and more coats to achieve your desired coverage.
In contrast, premium paints typically don't contain any fillers and may even contain high-quality resins that lend themselves to a longer lifespan. They take longer to dry but provide better coverage, thanks to the higher concentration of pigment, with fewer coats.
In the end, remember that cheap paints can cost a lot when you factor in extra labor, less longevity and lower-quality results.
